At Fileraz, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our file conversion tools. The most important thing to know is: We do not store or see your files.

2. How We Process Your Files

Our tools function differently from most online converters. Instead of uploading your files to a cloud server for processing:

Local Processing: Conversion happens directly within your web browser, using the browser's Canvas API for images and JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js) for PDFs. No WebAssembly is involved in this path.
No Uploads: Your files never leave your device. They are not transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers or any third-party servers.
Immediate Deletion: Since no files are uploaded, there is nothing for us to delete. Once you close the browser tab, the temporary memory used for conversion is cleared by your browser.
Verify it yourself: Open your browser's developer tools, select the Network tab, and run any conversion. You will see no request carrying your file.

3. Data Collection

Your files are never collected. Separately from the tools themselves, the site does collect a limited amount of operational data:

Technical Logs: Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and performance monitoring.
PDF rendering: PDF to Image and lossy PDF compression use PDF.js, which is bundled with this site like other application JavaScript. Your PDF file is read and rendered only in your browser; it is not sent to a third-party PDF service.
Messages You Send Us: If you use the contact or feedback form, the details you type into it are submitted to us so we can read and respond to them.

4. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking personal behavior. We may use local storage to save your user preferences (such as dark mode settings).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
